Apple & Cedar has year-round appeal but is especially nice around apple season in early autumn. A true, ripe apple essence, a touch of spice blend, and a smooth addition of cedar.

Why Soy Wax?
· Cleaner burning - no pollutants means less likely to trigger allergies. Say goodbye to the carbon soot you get from candles past. · Longer lasting - soy wax burns cooler, so you can enjoy your soy wax candle for generally 30-50% longer than a paraffin candle. · Our 100% US grown soy wax candles support American farming business. Soy is a renewable resource we can feel good about using in candles. · Burn Time is approximately 55 hours for 9oz Jar candle, and 25 hours for a 4oz tin.
We use a lead and zinc free cotton core wick for best burning, and the best quality fragrance oils, all phthalate free.
We use no colorants or dyes in our candles, you will see the beautiful natural variations of soy wax in the surface of the candles. Jill & James candles are poured in small batches, so small variations in appearance are normal. Some frosting may occur in soy candles in general (a white crystallization on the wax surface). The surface appearance and any variation does not affect burning or scent throw at all, and in fact these natural characteristics simply are the sign of a natural soy candle!
Upon lighting for the first time, make sure to burn your soy candle long enough for the wax to melt all the way to the edge of the container (typically this will occur within 90 minutes or less). If any candle is not allowed to melt to the edge, especially on first burn, a memory ring can form and make the candle burn unevenly during future burns.
